DDR Training?
Greetings all,
I know it's been some time since I wrote, but it has been a busy time settling into the new place.
Over the weekend, Christine and I had our nephew, Cody, come to stay with us. Seeing as how I haven't spent a lot of time with children in recent memory, I found it a bit tiring, but we had fun. We played video games with him, went to the mall and went for a couple of walks. Sunday morning we attended Christine's church, then afterward went out for lunch at Arby's, before heading to the movie theatre downtown to watch Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D.
We arrived early at the theatre, while the previous showing was still on-going, and sat down at a table near the arcade games. After hearing a bit of a commotion in that area, we turned around to see a guy playing on a game, the title of which I believe was "In the Jam 2", a "Dance, Dance, Revolution" variant. The curious thing was that it looked like this guy was training at it. He was dressed in workout attire (shorts and a light shirt) and had a water bottle along. We watched him go through several songs on it, and he was really good, scoring better than 99% accuracy on one of them. He was on his own, so it looked like he had come to the theatre for the express purpose of playing this game.
I wonder: are there Dance, Dance Revolution competitions out there?

I just spent 3hrs at a festival and found a tent with no advertisments or trinkets to sell... only DDR. And people lined up to play. haha :)
