Brief Update
Hi everybody. I know, I know, as usual I haven't posted in forever and a day. Over the last month and a half I have been keeping busy.
Activities have included:
-frustrating apartment searching
-cleaning and packing current apartment in preparation to move into new one
-a trip to Regina
-a 10 km road race (somewhat disappointing, time of 40.11), which included about 4 km of battling people out for the MS Walk, which was through some very poor planning schedule at roughly the same time and place
-a trip to Manitoba with the lovely Christine, including time at the drag races, meeting assorted members of my crazy family, a visit to the Winnipeg Zoo and to Lower Fort Garry
-a week in the north doing some preliminary work for the field season
Tonight will be my last night in the apartment, tomorrow I move out of this place, and then on Friday I move a grand total of twelve blocks to a two-bedroom basement suite, two blocks away from Shannon.
That will have to do for now. There were various minor adventures during this period (squirrel fishing in my parents' backyard in Regina comes to mind), and perhaps when I'm settled down again I might share some of them.
