Stuck in Sudbury
It's been quite a while since I posted last, but I find myself with ample free time right now, while I sit on-hold waiting for someone at Air Canada to pick up and tell me when I'm going to be able to fly home.
I've been in Sudbury since December 4, taking a Geophysics course as part of my masters program. The class wrapped up yesterday afternoon, I had a somewhat restful night and then found out my flight for today was cancelled. I wasn't able to get through to speak to anyone at the airport last night, either.
Earlier this morning I spent an hour on hold before the cordless phone I was using died. Now I'm on a corded phone, and have been on hold for 45 minutes, listening to Christmas music, over and over and over again. Sigh.
However, there's no use getting upset over it, so I plan to use today to finish up the Christmas cards I've been trying to do but have lacked the time for during the course, as well as a few other things on my do-to list that I've found time for.
Merry Christmas everyone, and I hope to see some of you soon...provided I get out of Sudbury.
